
PROVIDENCE, R.I., June 12, 2016 – At the conclusion of the USA Gymnastics Championships at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, R.I., USA Gymnastics announced the first members of the 2016 U.S. Olympic Team for gymnastics, pending approval by the United States Olympic Committee, for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
- Rhythmic gymnastics – Laura Zeng of Libertyville, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center; Replacement athlete, Camilla Feeley of Highland Park, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center.
- Group rhythmic gymnastics – Kiana Eide of Northbrook, Ill.; Alisa Kano of Glencoe, Ill.; Natalie McGiffert of Northbrook, Ill.; Monica Rokhman of Northbrook, Ill.; and Kristen Shaldybin of Chicago. Replacement athlete: Jennifer Rokhman of Northbrook, Ill.
